You would order it as a Waterford. It would be considered a one-off design.

Hello,
I was wondering if it would be possible to make the RockHound 29er with the stainless steel tubing? If so, then what would be the cost for a medium to
large frame?

Thank you,
Chris

All our tubing is custom heat treated air-hardening steels, featuring True Temper OX Plat or Reynolds 853. We use somewhat lighter configurations on the Roadie, Sport, CrossHairs, Hyper-X and Street Dog than we do on the Fastlane and Grand Tour.

i would like to know the materials used to make your tubing, specifically for the crosshairs and street dog. I do not see it specified anywhere.

Not really. We have an excellent local powder coater, but they still don't match the look of a good wet paint finish.

Before frames are shipped, we: Remove paint from the BB and head tube faces and chase the bottom bracket threads. Even so, there is usually some overspray left in the threads.

Most shops feel that this is an nice prep job. Some of our shops still prep the frames even with the work we do.

OS2 refers to a tubeset standard featuring a 35mm downtube and 31.8mm top tube. These thin-wall tubes help us lighten up our frames while achieving the same torsional rigidity of the OS tubing we've used for years. As with OS, we offer a palette of tubes to adjust the strength to meet specific needs. The Sport has our medium weight version because it is designed to carry a medium load on a medium wheelbase bike.
